Merhaba! Bugün sizlere şu sıralar en severek kullandığım parfümlerden bahsedeceğim. Givenchy - Play, Jo Malone - English Pear & Freesia ve Lancome - Tresor In Love. Bu üç parfümün notalarını karşılaştırdığımda ortak noktalarının çiçek ve meyve notaları olduğunu gördüm, sanırım bu tür kokulara karşı büyük bir zaafım var.
Hey everyone! Today I want to talk about my current favourite perfumes: Givenchy - Play, Jo Malone - English Pear & Freesia and Lancome - Tresor In Love. When I compare the notes in all these perfumes, I came across with fruits and flowers mostly, I guess I have a thing for fruity and floral perfumes.
İlk olarak Givenchy - Play'den bahsetmek istiyorum. Bu parfümü yaklaşık 2 senedir kullanıyorum. Bana göre sıcak mevsimler için fazlaca ağır bir koku, ama sonbahar ve kışa çok yakışıyor. Üst notaları pembe biber, beyaz şeftali ve bergamot; orta notaları amiris ağacı, tiare çiçeği, manolya çiçeği; alt notalar ise sandal ağacı, paçuli ve misk. İlk koklayışta oldukça baharatlı gibi geliyor ama daha sonra çiçeksi bir kokuya dönüşüyor. Kalıcılığının çok iyi olmadığını duymuştum, ama benim tenimde oldukça uzun süre dayanıyor.
Let's start with Givenchy - Play. I've been using this for almost 2 years. I never reach for it during warmer months as I think it's quite heavy, but it fits perfectly to colder months. Top notes are pink peppercorn and orange blossom, it has amyris wood, tiare flower and orchid in its heart and sandalwood and patchouli as a base. At first, you can really smell the pepper in it, but later on it turns to a floral scent. It lingers on quite a long time on me, although I heard from other people that it fades away quite quickly.
Bu parfümle çok uzun olmayan ama fırtınalı bir geçmişimiz var. Kendisini ilk önce geçen seneki Avrupa gezimde Fransa'da tesadüfen kokladım ve o saniyede aşık oldum! Gezi boyunca bu parfümü gördüğüm her yerde kokladım, sıktım, ama nedense bir türlü almadım, kendi kendime çok fazla parfümüm olduğunu ve önce onları bitirmem gerektiğini söyleyip durdum. Ama döndükten sonra daha fazla dayanamadım ve bir kaç ay sonra bir set halinde çok uyguna bulup 2 tane aldım. Üst notaları nektarin, bergamot, şeftali ve ekşi armut. Kalp notaları ise Türk gülü ve yasemin, alt notası ise sedir. Bu parfümün birinci şişesini yeni bitirdim ve ikinciyi bitirir bitirmez de yeniden alacağım. Hatta bu parfüm sanırım ilerleyen yıllarda da koleksiyonumda hep olması gerektiğini düşündüğüm tek parfüm.
We have an interesting story with this perfume. I first sniffed this during my trip to Europe last year, when I was in Paris, and instantly fell in love. During that trip whenever I saw this, I took a sniff, sprayed it on but I just couldn't justify buying it, as I have too many perfumes already. But after I got back home, I couldn't keep waiting and a few months later when I found this in a gift set for such a good deal, I went for it and bought 2! This has nectarine, bergamot, peach and sour pear as top notes; Turkish rose and jasmine in its heart and cedar as a base. I recently finished up my first bottle and opened the second one, as soon as this one is all gone, I will repurchase. Actually, I think I will repurchase this forever, because I believe this is the one perfume I will always want in my collection.
Koleksiyonuma yeni katılan Jo Malone - English Pear and Freesia şu sıralar yeni gözdem. 4 gün önceki doğum günümde çok yakın bir arkadaşımın hediye ettiği (Tekrar teşekkürler, okuduğunu biliyorum!) bu parfüm gerçekten bir harika. İngiliz armudu, beyaz frezya çiçeği, yabani gül, rubarb, paçuli, kehribar ve miskten oluşan bu parfüm, çiçek ve meyve içerikli parfümleri sevenlerin kesinlikle denemesi gerektiği türden. Bittikçe alacağım ve yıllarca kullanacağım bir parfüm olduğunu düşünüyorum. Jo Malone parfümlerinin kendilerine özgü bir karakterleri var, asla herkeste görebileceğiniz türden kokular değiller. Mutlaka en yakın Jo Malone mağazasına gidip birkaç kokuyu deneyimlemelisiniz. Jo Malone parfümlere Harvey Nichols mağazalarından ya da Nişantaşı, İstinye Park gibi yerlerdeki kendi mağazalarından ulaşabilirsiniz.
Jo Malone - English Pear and Freesia is the newest addition to my collection, but it quickly became my favourite! This has English pear, white freesia, wild rose, rhubarb, patchouli, amber and musk as its notes. This was gifted to me by a very close friend of mine (I know you're reading, thanks again!) in my birthday 4 days ago, and it's perfect for a lover of fruity and floral scents, like me. I will forever repurchase this perfume. Jo Malone scents are so unique and so characteristic, they are not like those perfumes that you encounter all the time. You really should visit the nearest Jo Malone counter/store and sniff a few of their scents, they will blow your mind!
